Roof top gardening is nothing new. It can be an oasis in an otherwise built-up urban setting. Gardening on a rooftop has a number of benefits including privacy and good sun light, but there are several things to consider.

Our Roof top Gardening bed system considered roof top gardening needs like Tools, containers, Soil,fertilizer,water,plants and roof top climate conditions (Most roofs, exposed as they are to sun, wind, and rain) Geocomposite are excellent subsurface drainage systems. They are non-woven geotextiles laminated on both sides with a high density polyethylene drainage net core. Water can easily pass through to the polymer core for water transport while soil is prevented from washing through to the core. We use this for our Rased beds.

We use Zipdrain Dimple Membrane, a flexible subsoil drainage mat that can efficiently drain seepage water with high flow rate. It is made of durable High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) core and non-woven spunbonded polyester filters that are highly resistant to most chemical, bacteria and fungi normally found in soils.

As compared to using traditional gravel drainage layers, Zipdrain Dimple Membrane is much lighter and therefore drastically reduces loading on decks. Users also benefit from increased working efficiency due to faster installation and easier handling.
